Yesterday the 18 half turns was too fast of a ramp up, wound up with a small blood blister. Even so we were able to comfortably get to 108 half turns today, which is what was scheduled. Hopefully I’ve learned my lesson and won’t push beyond what the stretch relaxation needs on the ramp up. Removal of the device was not bad and the glans condition was good post session.

Yesterday was the first workout where I went lighter and did the entire upper body in one workout. It took ~ 2 hours, the biggest factor was the wind, Since I’ve been going heavier recently I’ve lost some of the aerobic capacity/recovery ability between sets. Just focused on getting the duration up after getting sick from the bad water. I talked to the Forest preserve manager and he told me that all they do is run the water when they open the fountains for the year but the water on that fountain does get stale and they they do not test them for water quality.

I am feeling better today but my GI system is still whacked. Hope to get some exercise in today. So far behind now on everything.

You might consider a few days of probiotics to get things back to normal balance. My doc recommended a brand called Visibiome when I had a similar GI infection happen after traveling in the South American jungle.

Interestingly, my dog’s vet also recommended the same brand after she got into some dirty puddle water from a low stream out hiking. It’s a little spendy but I suppose good quality for return gin to GI health since it is the go-to rec for both dog and man. But I imagine any high quality probiotic would do.

RESET!!!

Okay so after a disastrous 9 days since ingesting the contaminated waster, I’ve decided to start over today.

Slept 10 hours last night, clearly wiped out.

15 minutes in to the session today I noticed that the head swell was collapsing and so discontinued the session to not stress the tissues. We’ll go again tomorrow.

Yesterday I went old school with the weights, 1 exercise per body part 4 sets each and worked the entire upper body. Bench press, pulldowns, overhead press, biceps, Triceps, abdominals. Took an hour and 15 minutes. In the afternoon I ran 3.5 miles Still not feeling right since the contaminated water but the performance was improved for sure. Also yesterday started the intermittent fasting and was strict on the meal plan. I’ll hold it for 30 days. It was good to see the weight stop climbing, but pretty sure the body was retaining water in response to whatever pathogens I ingested.

We’ll see from here.
